The Aventon Current ADV is built for riders who want real trail performance without paying the "heritage brand" tax that usually comes with a full-power eMTB. As Aventon's first full-suspension electric mountain bike in the value trim, it delivers serious capability at a price that actually makes sense.

At its core is the Ultro X mid-drive motor, producing 750W of peak power and 110Nm of torque — or up to 850W and 120Nm in BOOST mode — paired with 150mm of front travel and 140mm in the rear. That combination handles everything from long backcountry climbs to fast, technical descents with confidence.

The geometry is dialed in for real trail riding: a 64.6° head angle keeps things stable on steep, chunky terrain, while a 76.6° seat tube angle keeps riders in an efficient climbing position. Wide 29" wheels and 445mm chainstays make the bike feel planted yet playful — capable of both point-and-shoot descents and tight, technical cornering.

Tech plays a real role here, not just a marketing checkbox. A wireless control pad and clean touchscreen display keep the cockpit uncluttered, while the companion app's Ride Tune feature lets riders customize exactly how power gets delivered. Wheel Lift Control and Air Time tracking add trail-specific feedback, and built-in 4G connectivity, GPS tracking, and an integrated alarm system offer real peace of mind when the bike is locked up.

The build kit backs up the performance claims: RockShox Psylo Gold fork and Deluxe Select+ shock, SRAM Eagle 70 12-speed transmission, SRAM DB8 Stealth four-piston brakes, and Maxxis Minion tubeless-ready tires front and rear — components typically found on bikes costing significantly more.
