Rambo Megatron 4.0 All-Wheel Drive — Overview

Unleash serious power, traction, and versatility with the Megatron 4.0 AWD — the next evolution in Rambo’s groundbreaking e-bike lineup. Originally launching the first all-wheel drive (AWD) e-bike in 2019, Rambo continues to refine and push boundaries. The Megatron 4.0 comes fully outfitted for rugged use, with integrated racks, fenders, and a custom LED lightbar built in for off-grid performance.

Key Features & Highlights

Dual Motor & AWD Capability

• Equipped with Bafang dual 1,000 W hub motors, delivering combined output up to 2,000 W nominal and 2,500 W peak.

• Offers on-the-fly toggling between front drive, rear drive, or full all-wheel drive. This allows the rider to adapt power delivery to terrain—use AWD when you need maximum grip, or single-motor mode when cruising.

• Especially potent for steep climbs, soft or loose terrain, and challenging surfaces where traction is needed. 

Battery & Range

• Comes standard with a 48 V 20 Ah (960 Wh) battery. 

• Compatible with an additional 14 Ah battery upgrade to extend range.

• Range estimates: up to 65 miles on a single battery; up to 110 miles when using dual battery configuration.

Performance Specs

• Top speed of up to 36 mph (in appropriate modes/settings) 

• Generates ~180 Nm of torque (according to the performance spec)

• Single-speed drivetrain by default (no derailleur), optionally upgradeable to Shimano 8-speed for more flexibility.

Frame & Build

• Frame made from hydroformed 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, heat treated and TIG welded for durability.

• Designed with an integrated rear rack and mounting points to carry panniers and gear.

• Comes with full front and rear fenders to protect from mud, water, and debris.

• Custom Rambo Storm LED lightbar, with selectable beam and stealth mode (white/green), built in for night riding.

Brakes, Wheels & Tires

• Braking system uses Logan 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes (203 mm front / 180 mm rear) with electric safety cutoffs.

• Rims are double-wall aluminum alloy, built for heavy off-road use.

• Tires are Kenda 26″ × 4.8″ aggressive tread, anti-puncture design.
